She’s gone again... :-(

The last two months have been S T R E S S F U L and this last 7 days have been frantic BUT we made it and WE’RE GETTING FUCKING MARRIED BITCHESSSS! No Thanks to the USA and UK’s racist and condescending immigration policies and their multiple layers of impenetrable bureaucracy, this has been way harder than it should be but faint heart never won fair lady. After a hellish amount of organising, everything is in place and can finally proceed. This is by no means the end of the journey but its a substantial step in the right direction. We’re getting there and come the summer I will have a wife! (Who’da thunk it?!)
Thank you to everyone who has been supportive of this, frankly insane, endeavour and to @carrkai I love you, and I’ll see you again soon.

@idlesband were my discovery of 2018 so now I finally have some money I bought their first album and it’s every bit as excellent as I expected. Seeing them live is now a bucket list item.

There are two books that have formed how I write poetry and this is one of them.
Mary Oliver was a master, one of the all time American greats of Poetry and taught me everything about it in one little book.
In an age of pretty vacuous Poetry (especially on IG) I would heartily recommend a read of any of her collections.
Rest in Peace Mary. Thank you for your craft and not-so-sullen Art.
